4.4 Transfer of Responsibilities:

4.4.1 All newly elected officials shall assume their positions on January 1. Officials include, but are not limited to, the positions described in Article V of the Constitution.

4.4.2 After the election, a formal AdCom Transition meeting will be held. Refer to Section 8 of the Bylaws.

4.4.3 Legal Issues: The outgoing Secretary shall ensure that by January 1, the Articles of Incorporation are adjusted to reflect the newly elected members of the AdCom, with any other informational changes necessary.

4.4.4 Financial Issues: The outgoing Treasurer shall ensure that by January 1, all signature authorities for bank accounts and all other assets (for example, liquid and non-liquid) shall be transferred to the newly elected officers.

5 AdCom Members:  The Constitution, Article V, provides for the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Members at Large.

5.0.1 In accordance with Article V, Section 3 of the Constitution, additional staff  may be hired or appointed at the discretion of the AdCom. This may  include legal counsel, accounting services, etc.
